Red Sky: Jivamukti Open 90 minutes

This was a special experience. In the Bay Area it seemed as though the sun never cam out due to the ash in the air. In Colerado (where a member of the live class was zooming in from). the scorching summer heat overnight turned in to a snowstorm, and we practiced with the theme of Kriya yoga, and in particular, Tapah, dedication to practice to create heat, to cleanse, to clear! “If you want peace, joy and happiness, perform actions that bring about peace, joy and happiness for all. When we devote all of our daily activities arduously toward harmony, we are performing Kriya Yoga.

The physical practice is deep and grounding, we also practice kapalabhai kriya.

at the beginning of the class we chant:
Tapah-svadhyaya-Ishvara-pranidhanani kriya yogah.
Austerity, Self-study, and surrender to God constitute the yoga of action.
Patanjali's Yoga Sutras II:1

This class was recorded from my home in CA as a Zoom call on September 9, 2020, During a time while we are mainly staying at home, let us stay connected through practice and reverence. Join along and breathe with us.
