Groups of 10 to 20 yogis gather for a powerful yoga class and kirtan (music meditation). After class, the yoga space transforms into a casual dining area in which yogis sit cross legged and are served a delicious vegan meal.
This edition of our Yoga and Dinner series will be centered around Giving Thanks. Life is a privilege. Humility is a most important virtue to cultivate for the yogi because through humility one can diminish self-centerdness and awaken to Self-realization. With each new day we are given an opportunity to remember who we really are-to remember our divine, eternal connection to the Supreme. Gratitude awakens humility and humility leads to Self Realization.
Class will be lead by Carly Boland, Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Carly is passionate about sharing yoga as a life practice through the method of Jivamukti. She has had the rare opportunity of living with her teachers at the Wild Woodstock Jivamukti Forest Sanctuary, immersed in rich direct transmission that is palpable through her heartfelt teaching.
Carly’s aim in every class is for all involved to leave closer to who they truly are, more of a vibrant, kind, centered, and joyful version of themselves.
